I’m hoping the baby boomer generation helps us as a society rethink how we treat our elderly. There has got to be some better solutions than sticking them in a giant waiting room.

To add to Janette’s comment, I think the programs that try to move caregivers to the person’s home (rather than the other way around) are the right way to go. Who wouldn’t want to stay in their own place with the right supports?
